Die Dokumente zu den einzelnen Ländern sind in Tabellenform gehalten, mit möglichst wenig Fließtext. Die Information ist dadurch stark verdichtet, so dass die Dokumente nicht einfach gelesen werden können, benützen sie die Einführung () als Lesehilfe. Alle Dokumente sind in deutscher Sprache (enthalten dazu mehr als 100 andere Sprachen).

The documents on the different countries are in German (and contain more than 100 other languages). This should not discourage anyone to use them. Most of the informations is displayed in a condensed tabular form, with as little plain text as possible, in order to make them accessible to non German speakers. Use the Introduction () as a reader's guide in order to find your way through.

Eine Datensammlung ist nie abgeschlossen oder vollständig (schon gar nicht fehlerfrei) und die geldgeschichtliche Entwicklung geht weiter. Die Dokumente werden daher laufend aktualisiert.
